I survived my first week of school; although I didn't have any doubts I wouldn't. I enjoyed every chaotic minute and can't wait for Monday!
We went and visited the crazy people in WI doing the 10 hour triathlon (my sister Amanda and sis-in-law Gigi and Cathy (an advisor at our school.)) They did great! They ended up finishing 6 full triathlons. Something I will never accomplish and I am ok with that! It rained and poured and then was sunny with a fall breeze. I love fall breezes. They are just enough to make you want some hot cocoa but not so cold that you run for the indoors. I love sweaters and sweatshirts so I definitely am a fall and winter gal!
Ian took a great nap as did I (on the couch) as Kaleb (who didn't take a nap and fell asleep at 7:30pm and hasn't woke up yet) watched movies and "rested" on the living room floor. These are my kind of Saturdays where I make mac 'n cheese and fruit for lunch (and chocolate milk) and we rest for awhile and wait for Daddy to come home from a crazy day of making glasses. I also love "sheets weekend." This is when I launder all the sheets in the house. My one rule is that you must be clean for the first night of clean sheets. I just love hopping into a freshly made bed after a hot shower and reading a great book until I am too tired to stand it any longer.
Enough gabbing...I must go and enjoy my sheets!!

I love clean sheets too!! The best thing..Matt cleaned our sheets Saturday morning so when I got back from that crazy 10 hour tri, I had a clean bed to hop into :)
I think you need to share some of your love for winter with me. I am sad to see summer slipping through my fingers and I am dreading winter's arrival!
