Why did they choose April 29, 2011?

Many people have asked why William and Kate chose April 29th as their wedding date. I did some digging and found out that since it is on a Friday that it will be a national holiday for many of the people in England. They will be able to line the streets and watch the events as they unfold and celebrate with each other! Lucky!! Who wouldn't want a day off to watch the festivities?? They also wanted to get married in the spring after Easter and before all the busy summer season.

I also noticed that they are getting married on the 29th just like Princess Diana and Prince Charles (July 29, 1981) and if they were still married they would have been married for 29 years!! Also Prince William will turn 29 this year and Kate already turned 29 last month. Coincidence???
